Introducing your guide and point of contact:  Anwar Alomaisi:

Anwar has lived across the globe, including more than twenty years in New York. He now calls Kenya home, with additional chapters of his life spent in Yemen and Egypt. Fluent in Arabic and English — and in the visual language of nature photography — Anwar brings a multicultural perspective and a deep sense of purpose to everything he does.

Hard work, community, and service are the threads that run through his life. He has dedicated himself to giving back, supporting others, and using his art to make a meaningful impact. As a wildlife photographer with more than 15 years of experience, Anwar uses his images to tell stories that bring people closer to nature. His photography has supported fundraising efforts for organizations and causes he believes in, generously donating his work to help drive awareness and support.

His commitment to service extends beyond photography. Anwar has volunteered with the Peekskill Police Department (Peekskill, New York) and for the Red Cross for many years, assisting communities during natural disasters — including fires, floods, and hurricanes.

Today, he is using his craft to share the beauty of wildlife and nature through his lens, while staying true to the values that have guided him throughout his life — compassion, respect, and giving back. Based in Kenya, Anwar offers safari experiences that guide guests through breathtaking landscapes, helping them witness wildlife up close, capture unforgettable moments through photography, and experience his deep love for the natural world.

For Anwar, photography is more than capturing beautiful moments. It is about purpose, connection, awareness, and impact — a way to honor the natural world and the communities he serves.
